#Ecofriendly Holi#

Holi – “the festival of colours”..

Distribution of happiness, & sweetness in relations through putting colour on each other is the sole purpose of celebrating holi, but the colour available in market includes chemicals which are very harmful for skin.

Allergy & rashes appears on skin because of which many problems arises . Why not this time we should use natural colours to play holi.. So that this festival of colours should really become a festival of happiness.

In morning apply a little oil on your skin , & should always try to save your face from chemicals & greece. But if unfortunately it gets on your face, then don’t rub the face, & dont wash face with castic soda or detergent soap. Instead of this apply a good soap with firm hands on your face. After that apply ubtan on face .

Likewise for cleaning colou from hair apply oil on scalp , & keep your head covered & always wear full sleeves suits as it protects the skin from getting affected by colours.

How to Make Natural Colours

Green Color- For making greem color use mehendi. With mehendi mix cornflour, you can make dry green colour. Always remember that gooseberry should not be in mehendi. If u want to make this color dark then mix water in it. If it will get into hair it will not spoil them.

Yellow Color- Turmeric & gram flour can be mix to prepare yellow color. For making this color the proportion in which you will take gram flour & turmeric will be 1:2. It means if one tablespoon turmeric , then 2 tablespoon gramflour will be put to make the colour. It can be usually used as ubtan in homes as it helps in making the skin glow. Instead of gram flour you can use telcom powder.

Red Color- To make red color you can use red chandan powder . In this red chandan powder mix powder of dry hibiscus flowers. It will make gulal more fragrance & red. For making wet red color take two spoons of red chandan powder & mix one litre water in it & boil it.

Pink Color- For making pink color Beet root can be used. Take one beetroot , cut it into slices & grind it in mixi & soak it in one litre water whole night. In morning boil this water & make it thick. Then mix water in it & play holi with it.

Blue Color- For making blue color take the beans that grow on nil ke plants & grind it & boil it in water. Likewise dry the hibiscus flowers & grind it . It can also used to prepare blue color.
